Miami Breakers FC Teams Excel as Runners-Up at Clash of the Champions

The Miami Breakers FC had a stellar performance at the Clash of the Champions, with four of our teams making it all the way to the finals and finishing as proud runners-up. The MBFC 2008 White Boys, MBFC 2012 White Boys, MBFC 2014 White Boys, and MBFC 2014 Black Boys showed incredible grit and determination throughout the tournament, giving their all to reach the final stages. Their hard work, skill, and resilience were evident in every game, and while they fell just short of the title, their performances were nothing short of remarkable.



The MBFC 2008 White Boys battled through a tough bracket, demonstrating their tactical discipline and never-give-up attitude. Each match was a test of their character, but they rose to the occasion time and again, earning their place in the finals. Despite a hard-fought match, they finished as runners-up, proving themselves as one of the top teams in their division.



The MBFC 2012 White Boys also had an inspiring run. Their road to the finals was marked by intense competition and close matches, but their teamwork and perseverance pushed them forward. In the end, they left everything on the field, securing a well-earned second place and showing immense promise for the future.



The MBFC 2014 White Boys played with incredible passion and energy throughout the tournament. Their journey to the finals was filled with thrilling moments and decisive victories. Though they narrowly missed out on the championship, their performance showed that they have what it takes to be champions in the making.



Likewise, the MBFC 2014 Black Boys displayed their determination and competitive spirit. Their ability to play as a cohesive unit carried them through each stage of the tournament. Though they finished as runners-up, they earned the respect and admiration of all who watched their matches.


Special recognition goes to the coaches of each team. Their leadership, guidance, and unwavering support were pivotal in shaping these young athletes’ success. The dedication they showed in nurturing their players and helping them grow on and off the field was a key factor in each team’s impressive run.

Our Miami Breakers teams showed heart, courage, and unbreakable determination. These incredible groups made it all the way to the finals, fighting until the very last whistle. We are proud of every runner-up for their effort, passion, and perseverance. Here’s a summary of the teams who earned the silver medal and all of our respect: MBFC 2011 White vs. Key Biscayne SC April 6, 2025 | 4:30 PM EDT Final Score: 1 - 1 | Penalties: 3 - 4  In one of the most thrilling matches of the tournament, the 2011 White team tied 1-1 against Key Biscayne, taking the match to penalty kicks. Despite the shootout loss, their resilience and composure under pressure were truly inspiring.

On April 5th and 6th, Miami Breakers participated in the “Clash of the Champions” tournament, where the top youth soccer academies in the region came together, featuring boys’ and girls’ teams from the Future Stars U8 to U19 categories. Our teams showed incredible talent, commitment, and great sportsmanship throughout the event. From the first whistle to the final goal, the Breakers showcased passion, skill, and unity—defining what it truly means to be champions. Relive with us the impressive achievements of this great day: MBFC 2011 E64 Elite vs. Juventus Academy Miami Athletum FC Elite Final Score: 1 - 0 The Elite 64 2011 boys started the day with a determined performance against a tough opponent. A single goal was enough to seal the win, thanks to solid defense and constant pressure. Champions rise to the occasion, and these boys proved it.

The Doral Cup 2025 was the stage for an exceptional performance by our MBFC 2011 Black team, who showcased their talent, commitment, and determination in every match. With a brilliant performance, they reached the grand final, securing the runner-up title. Their effort and dedication are a source of pride and joy for the entire Miami Breakers FC family.  The Doral Cup is known for bringing together highly competitive teams from various regions, demanding a high level of play. Every match tested skill, strategy, and mental toughness, and MBFC 2011 Black proved they were up to the challenge.
